Records of Policy Statements

Policy statements are motions which are passed by Conference which do not directly amend the MfSS, but which have a short term or reactive policy implication.

The Record of Policy Statements (RoPS) brings together Policy Statements passed by the Green Party of England and Wales.

The party's main policy document is the Manifesto for a Sustainable Society (MfSS) and should be the first point of reference for Green Party policy. The RoPS is an additional document which supplements the MfSS.

The policy statements included here relate to topical issues, the application of Green principles, comments on particular political developments or statements of political support.

In some cases a policy statement may bring together a range of policies under a singular heading - as in the statement on Public Services.

RoPS, like the MfSS, is updated regularly to account for policy developments, so please ensure you have the most up to date edition.

They are assigned to the most approriate chapter of MfSS and referenced at the end of the chapter.

All are avaiable here as downloadable PDF files, each file may contain several policy statements (Links below). As they are being updated they are also being made available as webpages (see menu above)
