The Green Party of England & Wales
Policy and Manifesto for a Sustainable Society
The Green Party aims to create a just, equitable and sustainable society. We focus our efforts primarily, though not exclusively, through the electoral system.
OUR PRINCIPLES
The Green Party has a short statement of our Core Values, and a longer explanation, called the Philosophical Basis, of the underlying thinking and motives behind our policies.
OUR POLICIES
All our policies are available on this website. We are building up a library of A5 documents called policy pointers which are intended both as introductions to GP policies and as downloadable leaflets which can be used by activists for campaigning.
The Manifesto For a Sustainable Society contains all the policies agreed at successive Green Party conferences. These are our main detailed policies which are elucidated and illustrated from time to time in news releases, topical comment, reports etc.
The Records of Policy Statements
contain policy agreed by Conference which does not amend the MfSS.
You can download a zipped version of the whole MfSS as a set of HTML pages (about 1.7MB). You can also download the MfSS as a set of PDF documents (about 3.8Mb) ready for printing. Individual chapters as PDF files are linked from the web pages
